Final Year Film

So for my final year film I have created the idea upon the Grimm brothers fairytales. I wanted to create a modern day fairytale but bringing in the dark horror themes they once had before Disney cleaned them up.

We are taking the story of Snow White and turning it into Hoe White and the Seven deadly sins.

Filming is in process at the minute! SO more information will follow.

Advertising

So for our advertising unit we have been given the brief to create a 30 second commercial for Plus White teeth whitening gel.

Our concept is based around the sexual appeal of a ad. We will be having Extreme Close ups (ECU) and Close ups(CU) of people eating and drinking foods that would normally stain your teeth. With cuts of a man with his face screwing up each time someone goes and does something. Towards the end the man gets up and screams and we find out he's a dentist. With the tag line "Plus White- Dentists still can't get over it".

Shooting is being done this Friday so the edit will be able for viewing next week!

Upcoming Projects!

So as the end of the school year is approach mighty fast, we have all the last minute filming to do!

1.) 30 sec advertisment on teeth whitening.
2.) 2x 3-5 minute documentaries.
3.) 3-5 minute final year film.

Loads to do with so little time!

Disney Dreams

Again I have been very busy and have had hardly any time to keep everyone up-to-date on everything that's been happening!

Well back in February I went to DisneyLand Paris!! Finally I got to see what Disneyland was all about! It was truly Magical!!

Hills like White Elephants

So as the new term has started we have finally got a production to start!

As part of of fiction production module we had to take a short story and adapt it.
We had been giving the short story "Hills like White Elephants" by Ernest Hemingway.

With this our production got split into there job roles. And with our writer well under pressure to produce a script within a couple of weeks we had our final copy and were ready to start filming!

With this production I wanted to be the editor, as i want to specialize in editing! So i will write a new post with the final edit!
